The Duke 2023 iGEM team used the signal peptide HA as part of our study to assess the secretion efficiencies of different combinations of signal peptides, promoters, and cargos. The signal peptide HA was used as a negative control since it exhibited relatively low secretion as shown by high levels of YFP fluorescence within the cells. Based on our study, HA has relatively low secretion efficiency. |
